STARSTEM PI Dr Frances Henson and University of Cambridge PhD student William Hotham presented at the UK Society for Extracellular Vesicles (UKEV) meeting on December 9th and 10th, 2019. On the first day, Fran presented: “Extracellular Vesicles for therapeutic use”. Will’s talk was titled: “Comparing Extracellular Vesicles produced by Bone Marrow Mesenchymal stromal cells of Various species and showing interspecies uptake”. The two-day meeting was held at the Francis Crick Institute in London.

Will reports: “On the second day I presented my work in a “lightning talks” session whilst also presenting a poster. The attendance for this second day was 240 guests. This conference allowed me to discuss some of my research as well as increase the potential for future collaborations. I am very grateful to STARSTEM and UKEV for this opportunity.”

The UK Society for Extracellular Vesicles was established in 2017 to share ideas and expertise, hold regular meetings and promote extracellular vesicles research in the UK.
